Toro Y Moi, is the brainchild of South Carolinan Chaz Bundick, a 23-year-old singer, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist whiz-kid and graphic design graduate who grew up in New York listening to everyone from Daft Punk to J Dilla, and everything from freak-folk to French House.
Toro Y Moi blurs the boundary between electronica and Americana, spending his time focused on eclectic remixes for artists, such as Washed Out and Beach House. It may make for queasy listening if you’re not used to drifty, disorientating production, similar to Animal Collective and the Flaming Lips.
Tickets are $10 in advance online and $12 at the door.
Student Tickets are $5 and must be purchased directly from the gallery. Student Tickets may be purchased no later than one hour before doors. STUDENT TICKETS FOR THIS SHOW ARE LIMITED.
