The Shaniqua Brown is a rip-roaring, foot-thumping, house-shaking good time.
Vocalist Rachel Kate Gillon wails her spunky little heart out with memorable tunes like ‘Mister Karate Face’ and ‘Bike Ass’, with strong instrumental backing by Denis Blyth, David Blair, and Thomas Concannon.

Recently featured in Charleston Scene, Rachel Kate has been tearing Charleston a new one with her searing sounds and electric persona for a few years now. The band lists their influences as ‘everything’ and certainly do deliver when it comes to the energy brought onstage for their audiences’ delight.
The Shaniqua Brown is becoming ever more popular throughout the city and Eye Level is excited to incorporate this tremendous group into the 103 family.
Tickets are $8 in advance online and $10 at the door.
