Local guitarist Tyler Ross is uniting with bandmates Gerald Gregory on keyboards, Ben Wells on bass, and Stuart White on drums to perform the modern classic “A Go Go.” The original recording featured guitarist John Scofield paired up with the groove-jazz group Medeski, Martin, and Wood. From funk to hip hop, this album is laced with infectious rhythms and searing yet subtle instrumental solos.
The Charleston quartet featuring Gregory, Ross, Wells, and White is staying true to the original recording. Expect a groovy danceable show with a high level of musicianship to match.
