About Isaac Gillespie "Utterly genuine, super friendly and immensely talented" is how
sfreeper.com describes singer-songwriter, Isaac Gillespie. Native to Greenwich Village, New York, Gillespie embodies the sounds of Arlo Guthrie and James Taylor with his powerful lyrics and americana-folk melodies. His self-released album, 1971, (available on iTunes) is the epitome of folk music: homely, emotive vocals over a twangy guitar lamenting over death, love, women, heartbreak, and friends.
