The Satin Dolls & Minor Gravity
Ahhhh yes... Another Spoleto season is upon us, and if you can't decide between a String Quartet or a Jazz Quartet for your yearly fine arts pilgrimage? Eye Level Art's 103 Gallery is giving you BOTH for the price of ONE! The four ladies of the string quartet known as The Satin Dolls will bring a slightly more refined charm and glamor to the Eye Level Art stage, with selections ranging from tangos, to the French influences of Satie, and maybe even the pop elements of Lady Gaga!
For the second set the Minor Gravity Quartet featuring Simon Harding (Sax)
Tyler Ross (guitar), Bates Homan (Drums), Jeremy Wolf (Bass)
will take the stage to perform their original compositions and some of their favorite cover tunes.
The final set will feature both groups uniting to form a cosmic cultural pandemonium truly worthy of a once a year festival.
Satin Dolls members include Robbi Kenney on violin and piano, Jadde Nolty on violin, Anjali Lind on viola, and Annelise Nelson on the cello.
Tickets are $10 in advance online, from the gallery, or through the band.
Door tickets are $12.
Student pre-sale tickets available through the gallery for $5 (cash only) no later than one hour before doors.
